SayCheeese easy or sensitive — which package fits you?

Two packages, one goal — straight teeth. How the two aligner packages differ, who each is made for and how the plan matches your case.

Two packages, one clear system

At SayCheeese there aren't ten aligner tariffs. We work with two clearly defined packages: the easy package for minor corrections and the sensitive package for moderate corrections.

That saves you confusion — and us sales pressure. We recommend the package that fits your case. Period.

Package easy — minor corrections

The easy package contains 10 aligners per jaw. They're enough for most minor front-tooth corrections.

When easy fits:

  • Mild crowding up to ~3 mm
  • A small gap between incisors
  • Mild rotation of single teeth (up to ~30°)
  • Relapse after earlier braces affecting only a few front teeth

Key data:

  • 10 aligners, about 4 months of active wear
  • 1 jaw: €1,580 one-time or from €44 per month (36 interest-free instalments)
  • Both jaws: €1,980 one-time or €55/month
  • Includes iTero scan, X-ray, all check-ups, refinements, retainer

Package sensitive — moderate corrections

The sensitive package contains 20 aligners per jaw — almost twice the scope. It applies when correction needs more steps.

When sensitive fits:

  • Moderate crowding (3–5 mm)
  • Multiple small gaps at once
  • Stronger rotations (~30–45°)
  • Combinations of several topics — e.g. crowding plus tilt
  • Relapses affecting several teeth in both jaws

Key data:

  • 20 aligners, about 8 months of active wear
  • 1 jaw: €2,280 one-time or €63/month
  • Both jaws: €2,980 one-time or €83/month
  • Includes iTero scan, X-ray, all check-ups, refinements, retainer

What both packages share

Whichever package — treatment quality is identical. You get:

  • The same dental care at the Herrengasse practice
  • The same iTero 3D scanner
  • The same digital planning with end-position preview
  • The same aligner quality from the established manufacturer
  • The same check-ups (every 6–8 weeks)
  • Refinements at the end if needed
  • Retainers for securing the result
  • 0% financing over 36 months, no deposit, no credit-bureau check

The difference is purely the scope of correction — and therefore the number of aligner steps.

How we decide what fits you

At the free consultation we do the scan, the X-ray and plan the movements on the computer. The software gives us a clear signal:

  • For 9 or fewer steps easy is sufficient.
  • For more than 10 steps sensitive is needed.

We show you on screen how many steps your case needs and which package fits. We never recommend the larger package "just in case". If easy is enough, you get easy.

What if it turns out during treatment that more trays are needed?

Rare but it happens. A tooth reacts differently than planned, or you've been inconsistent for several weeks and a small deviation has built up.

Our refinements step in: we scan again, the manufacturer produces extra trays, you wear them as the original ones. Refinements are included in the package price — even if your case was originally planned for easy and ends up needing a few extras.

This is one of the most important distinctions between a serious aligner therapy and a cheap online kit: planning security beyond treatment end.

What's not in the package

We covered it in detail before — briefly here. Not in the package:

  • Dental hygiene before start (about €110)
  • Caries or gum treatment before start (individual)
  • Bleaching at the end (optional, about €290 both jaws)
  • Composite corrections of individual teeth for final fine details (~€120 per tooth)

These aren't "hidden costs" — they are complementary services you can decide on freely. If one is medically necessary we discuss it openly before treatment start.

What if your case doesn't fit easy or sensitive?

Some patients bring very strong misalignment — crowding over 5 mm, major jaw shifts, severe bite anomalies. In those cases invisible braces aren't the right tool. We say so honestly and refer to colleagues specialised in fixed braces or combined orthodontic treatment.

This honesty is part of our self-image. Anyone promising to correct a strong jaw shift "with aligners too" risks your money and your teeth.
